I work with active people and cyclists of all levels that do not like to be miss their rides or loose the fitness gains they have made. What I can tell you is that painkillers, extended time-off or generic exercises found online or YouTube are not going to fix the problem.
These "solutions" fail to target the MAIN SOURCE of the PROBLEM and only temporarily relieve pain. Prolonged use of painkillers can harm your stomach, generic exercises performed blindly can make things WORSE and prolonged periods of inactivity can lead to de-conditioning, further injury and a longer recovery time.
